This week our team takes out on a mission to tackle reviewing the LifeCORE line of elliptical trainers.  The first one reviewed is the LifeCORE CD400 Elliptical Trainer.

I purchased the LifeCore CD400 because I wanted a solid machine that didn’t take up a lot of room.  I live in an apartment and I wanted something that wasn’t going to eat up my living room.  It’s only 41” long compared to others that are over 70” long.  It was ideal for what I needed and I’m very happy with my purchase.

This machine has a center drive advantage that is easier on the hips and knees.  It centers your positioning over the flywheels and you have less up and down motion in your elliptical stride which I like.  This machine has very tight spacing that reduces stress, making workouts less uncomfortable.  The pedals are also only 8” off the ground so it makes it easier to get on and off the machine.

The LifeCore CD400 has a wireless chest strap to monitor your heart rate which optimizes your workout.  All you have to do is plug in your desired heart rate and the elliptical will adjust the level of resistance for you.

Overall, it’s a great machine with a number of positive features.  It’s a quality machine for the price and I’m very happy with it.
